COWLEY COUNTY—The Wichita Family Crisis Center's Winfield outreach office, 917 Main Street in Winfield is temporarily closed to the public after an SUV crashed into the building on Tuesday.
The center assured the public, "Our staff are safe and were not harmed. Until further notice, staff will be working remotely and continuing to provide support to survivors."
"Please don’t hesitate to call our office at 620-229-7233. Our advocates are still available and can make arrangements to meet with you at an agreed-upon public location and thank you for your understanding.'
Police have not released details on the driver or additional injuries.
