LABETTE COUNTY—A Kansas man died in an accident just before 5p.m. Sunday in Labette County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Chevy Malibu driven by Mara M. Cash, 15, Mound City, was southbound on U.S 59 and Corning Avenue.
The vehicle struck a southbound 2009 Harley Davidson Electra Glide motorcycle driven Phillip Andrew Moore, 52, Columbus, in the right lane.
Moore was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Frontier Forensics. Cash and two 10-year-old children in the Chevy were properly restrained and not injured. Moore was not wearing a helmet, according to the KHP.
