FINNEY COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a shooting in southwest Kansas that sent a victim to the hospital.
Just before 7p.m. Dec. 15, sheriff's deputies responded to the 3000 block of W. Jones Avenue in Garden City, according to a media release.
First responders found a 44-year-old Garden City man in his home suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was provided care, transported to the hospital and was listed in stable condition. Preliminary investigation indicates the shooter shot through the front door of the residence, striking the victim. Investigators released no additional details and have not reported an arrest.
