
KANSAS CITY —Authorities are working to determine the cause of an apartment fire in Kansas City.
Just after 1:30p.m. Saturday, fire crews responded to a reported apartment fire in the 400 block of NE 103rd in Kansas City, according to Battalion Chief Michael Hopkins.

First arriving crews reported smoke and fire showing from a two-story apartment. Occupants were not home at the time. Searches came back all clear. Multiple cats were found and taken to a local vet by the owners. Residents of two units are displaced. No injuries were reported.
