SEDGWICK COUNTY—Two people died in a house fire Thursday in Sedgwick County.
Just after 10:30p.m., crews were dispatched a fire at a home in the 6000 block North West ParkView in Park City, according to county spokesperson Brandon Zenner.
Firefighters on scene were met with heavy smoke and flames from the front of the home. One victim was pulled out of the residence where life saving efforts were made but later succumbed of their injuries at the hospital.
The second victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of fire is under investigation. Authorities did not release the names of the victims.
