Police: 19-year-old hospitalized after shooting in Manhattan

RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a shooting in Manhattan.

Just before 5:30a.m. Monday, the Riley County Police Department Dispatch Center received a report of shots fired in the 2400 block of Hobbs Drive in Manhattan, according to a media release.

When officers arrived on scene, they found one victim, a 19-year-old man, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Via Christi for treatment of his injuries. 

No suspect has been arrested at this time.
