SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect for drug crimes.
On June 29, members of the Topeka Police Department Narcotics Unit and the Shawnee County Drug Task Force served a search warrant in the 600 Block of SW Medford in Topeka, according to Police Lt. Ronnie Connell
While conducting the search warrant, officers located marijuana, crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
As a result, Larry Hines, 71, was transported to the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on requested charges of Distribute Certain Stimulants, Distribution within 1000’ of a school, Possession of marijuana and Possession of drug paraphernalia with intent of distribution.
