RENO COUNTY. — Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on sex crime and kidnapping allegations.
Just after 8:30p.m. Monday, deputies were sent to a rural residence northwest of Hutchinson for a domestic disturbance, according to a media release.
Deputies spoke with a man who stated the caller to 911 had just left the residence.
Tuesday morning, detectives began to review information previously gathered about this case and set up further interviews. In this continued investigation, it is believed that several crimes were possibly committed causing the initial call.
On Wednesday, deputies arrested 33-year-old Mathew W. Morgan of rural Hutchinson on requested charges of Aggravated Sodomy, Aggravated Domestic Battery and Aggravated Kidnapping. He is being held on a bond of $152,500, according to the release.
