
WYANDOTTE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities investigating a double shooting in the Gateway Plaza neighborhood of Kansas City, Kansas that left one person dead and another seriously injured have made an arrest.
Just before 11:30p.m. July 17, police were dispatched to a shooting call in the 1400 Block of North 5th Street. First responders found two adult men outside, the victims of apparent gunfire. One victim later identified as 45-year-old Printara Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene. EMS transported a second victim to an area hospital with life threatening injuries.
On Tuesday, police arrested 27-year-old Tenesha Marie Horton on requested charges of second degree murder in the death of Jackson and attempted second degree murder. She is being held on a $250,000 bond.
