SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a shooting that critically injured a man.
Just after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, officers were dispatched to the 1300 Block of SW Huntoon Street in Topeka in reference to a shooting that had just occurred, according to Lt. Edward Stanley.
At the scene, officers found an man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. Police have not reported an arrest or released the victim's name.
