ELLIS COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 9p.m. Friday in Ellis County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Freightliner semi driven by Raymond Ostagne, 47, Bridgeport, CT., was eastbound on Interstate 70 near Yocemento Avenue.
The vehicle left the roadway to the left, crossed the median, overturned and slid across westbound I-70 coming to rest in the westbound lanes and partially on the north shoulder.
EMS transported Ostagne and a passenger Jackson Philogen, 51, Bridgeport, CT., to Hays Medical Center. Both were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
