SHAWNEE COUNTY— Law enforcement have released the name of a man who died in an accident just after 1:30a.m. Sunday in Shawnee County.
According to Shawnee County Sheriff Brian Hill, an ATV driven by Chris W. Ross, 63, of Topeka. was traveling near his residence in the 4200 Block of NE Sherman Road. The ATV rolled. Family members attempted CPR until deputies arrived. Those first responders continued lifesaving measures. Fire and medical personnel arrived, and pronounced Ross deceased.
