
KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement are investigating a hit-and-run accident in Kansas City.
Just after 3a.m. Wednesday, the Kansas City, Missouri fire department responded to a reported car into a building at 4601 Independence Avenue, according to Battalion Chief Michael Hopkins.
First responders found that a pickup truck had struck the business that house a dental practice. The occupants of the truck fled the scene.
KCFD remained on the scene until a board up crew could arrive and secure the building due to a large hole in the front of the building. No injuries were reported. Law enforcement reported no additional details.
