
SEDGWICK COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating a homicide and asking the public for help to locate a suspect. Robert Schoenberger is wanted in connection with the homicide that occurred in the 500 block of N. Hillside in Wichita on Monday night.
Robert Schoenberger, 47, is described as a white male, 6 ft. tall with a slender build, according to Wichita Police. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, blue jeans, blue sneakers.

Schoenberger was on parole, cut off ankle monitor and is considered Armed and dangerous.
Preliminary information indicates the incident on Monday night began as a rolling disturbance between the victim and the suspect while they were in a vehicle together. The victim, who was driving, stopped in front of Wesley Medical Center, got out, and tried to get away. The suspect, later identified as Schoenbergr, was still in the passenger seat, opened fire—striking the victim in the upper body.
The victim was rushed into surgery but later died from her injuries. During the gunfire, Wesley Medical Center was also struck.
Witnesses reported seeing Schoenberger running from the area with a firearm. If you see him call 911 immediately. Do not approach
