SEDGWICK COUNTY—One person died in an accident just after 9p.m. Monday in Sedgwick County.
According to Sedgwick County Sheriff's office spokesman Branden Stitt, a Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by 46-year-old Guerrero Moreno Jr. of Wichita, was southbound on Meridian near 109th Street north of Valley Center. The motorcycle entered the northbound lanes and came to rest in the roadway. A northbound Toyota RAV4 driven, by a 68-year-old Sedgwick woman, struck Moreno and the motorcycle.
Moreno was pronounced dead at the scene. EMS transported the SUV driver to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office Major Crash Team continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
