RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a burglary in Manhattan.
Just after 4:30 Monday, officers filed a report for burglary and criminal damage to property in the 500 block of N. Juliette Avenue in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
A 43-year-old man reported an unknown suspect broke in his unoccupied home and stole five pistols, three AR-15 rifles and other miscellaneous items.
The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $6,300.
