KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement are investigating another homicide in Kansas City, Missouri.
Just before 12:30a.m. Tuesday, officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Jefferson in Kansas City on report of someone who was shot, according to KCPD Sergeant Phil DiMartino.
First responders located a man suffering from gunshot wounds, just inside of an apartment building at the Quality Hill Towers. Officers began performing life saving measures as KCFD Medics arrived.
EMS declared the victim deceased on scene. This is being investigated as a homicide.
Detectives are working to determine what led up to the shots being fired and the victim being struck. Police released no additional details including the name of the victims.
