ATCHISON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man for alleged child sex crimes.
On Friday, police conducted an investigation involving a female victim under the age of 14 and crimes committed when the victim was under the age of 16, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
Police arrested CJ Lonnie McPhie, 36, Atchison, on requested charges of rape, aggravated criminal sodomy, aggravated indecent liberties with a child, indecent liberties with a child, criminal sodomy, and electronic solicitation, according to Wilson. McPhie is being held on a $100,000 bond.
