Pompeo takes job with conservative legal organization

Former U.S. Secretary of State and Kansas congressman Mike Pompeo has joined the American Center for Law and Justice as Senior Counsel for Global Affairs. Jay Sekulow, who was part of President Donald Trump's legal team, has been the organization's chief counsel since 1991.

In a release announcing his hire, Secretary Pompeo said of the organization, “The ACLJ today is needed now more than ever, and that’s why I am so thrilled to be a small part of this really important organization.”

Secretary Pompeo will be appearing regularly on the organization's daily radio and streaming program, Sekulow.

Pompeo served four terms in Congress, representing Kansas’ 4th District. During his tenure, he served on the House Intelligence Committee, as well as the Energy and Commerce Committee and House Select Benghazi Committee.
