KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Whitney Randall,
the MIAA Women's Winter Student-Athlete of the Year, will be honored in
person at the MIAA Awards Celebration, presented by Husch Blackwell, on
Monday at the Kansas City Music Hall inside Municipal
Auditorium in downtown Kansas City, Mo. The event begins at 6 p.m. and
will be available to view for free on The MIAA Network.
The invitation only event will feature recognition of 2020 Hall of Fame
class and the 2020-21 MIAA Winter Student-Athletes of the Year,
presented by Summit Pointe Financial Group. The evening will also
include announcements for this year's winners of the MIAA SAAC Mentor of
the Year, the Dr. Bob Boerigter Officiating Award of Excellence and the
2020-21 MIAA Commissioner's Cup, presented by McCownGordon
Construction.
The Women's and Men's Winter Student-Athletes of the Year will be the
first honorees recognized during the event. Randall will be recognized
alongside Kizan David of Lincoln University, the Men's Winter
Student-Athlete of the Year.
