Former Kan. school choir director admits to sex crimes with student

JOHNSON COUNTY —A former Kansas high school Choir Director accused of sex crimes made a court appearance Friday.

Micah Horton, 35, the former Choir Director at Olathe North High School pleaded guilty to three counts of unlawful sexual relations.

After an investigation in March of 2024, Olathe Police arrested Horton. He is scheduled for sentencing on March 28, according to the District Attorney's office.
