JOHNSON COUNTY, Mo. —Law enforcement are investigating a rural Missouri couple in connection with years of alleged child sex abuse.
According to the Johnson County Sheriff 56-year-old Gregory D. Arnold and his wife 55-year-old Yvonne P. Arnold both of Chilhowee, Missouri, have been charged with Statutory Sodomy 1st Degree
The charges mark the beginning of what is anticipated to be a comprehensive and detailed investigation. The Johnson County Sheriff's Office is actively looking into additional potential crimes that may have been committed as early as 2005.
Investigators are working to uncover all facts and ensure justice is served the sheriff's office is committed to support for the victims in this case. Chilhowee is located approximately 65 miles southeast of Kansas City.
