WYANDOTTE COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 10:30p.m. Thursday in Wyandotte County.
The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department Traffic Fatality Unit reported three individuals were traveling westbound on State Avenue on motorbikes when they collided with a vehicle that was turning north onto N. 50th Terrace.
One of the motorbike operators was pronounced deceased at the scene. A second motorbike operator was transported to a local hospital, where they remain in critical condition. The third motorbike operator and the driver of the other vehicle was not injured. The crash remains under investigation.
