
SUMNER COUNTY—A Kansas school district is closed Friday due to a COVID-19 outbreak.
According to the USD 353 -Wellington, Kansas website, "the Sumner County Health Department and school district have deemed 3 of the district's 6 buildings as COVID-19 outbreak schools."
The district is temporarily closing all schools and suspending sports practices and other school related events.
Classes and school activities are scheduled to resume on September 7th. Adjustments for learning will be made once school resumes on September 7.
