JOHNSON COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 9a.m. Friday in Johnson County.
Olathe Police Sergeant John Moncayo reported an SUV driven by a 53-year-old man and a dump truck collided head-on in the area of West 159th Street and South Lone Elm Road.
The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the dump truck was uninjured and remained on scene.
The accident remains under investigation, according to Moncayo.
