PRATT COUNTY —Two people died in an accident just after 11a.m. Saturday in Pratt County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Honda CRV driven by Uyel R. Martin, 90,&nbsp;Isabel, was eastbound on Kansas 42, approximately two miles east of the the U.S. 281 Junction, east of Sawyer.

The Honda rear-ended a 1978 Ford pickup that was stopped in the eastbound lane. The pickup driver Myburgh&nbsp;Hanekom, 31, Sawyer, was out of the pickup in the ditch.

Martin and a passenger identified as Dovie A Martin, 84, Isabel, were pronounced dead at the scene and were transported to Larrison Mortuary. Hanekom was not injured. Martin was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
