LYON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities investigating a fatal accident on the Kansas Turnpike have identified the victim.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Cadillac SRX driven by&nbsp;Sacha McNack, 31, Oklahoma City, was northbound on Interstate 335 near the Emporia exit just after noon Monday.

The SUV traveled onto the right shoulder. The driver overcorrected and lost control of the vehicle. The SUV traveled into the east ditch, struck a tree and caught fire.

EMS transported an 8-year-old Oklahoma City boy from the SUV to Children's Mercy.&nbsp; &nbsp;A 6-year-old girl and a 2-year-old boy both of Oklahoma City were transported to the hospital in Emporia.&nbsp; The 8-year-old was not in a child safety seat, according to the KHP.&nbsp; 

The KHP did not have information on whether McNack was properly restrained at the time of the accident.
