KANSAS CITY—Just after 6:20p.m. Sunday, the patrol reported the girls were located safe and Hardy was in custody.&nbsp; The patrol reported no additional details.

KANSAS CITY —The Missouri State Highway Patrol has issued an Amber Alert involving&nbsp; two 9-month year olds Iris and Halo Gannaway.&nbsp; Police are looking for a Silver 2016 Ford Fusion with Missouri Plate TK7Z6U driven by 21-year-old Malik Hardy.

According to the Patrol, Hardy threatened the mother of the children with a firearm before taking both children from a&nbsp; residence at 8201  Valley Road in Belton.

The car was traveling northbound on Interstate 49 from MO 58.
