SEDGWICK COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a fatal shooting in a restaurant drive-through.

Just after 11:30p.m. Friday, police were dispatched to the 3600 block of East Harry for a shooting, according to Officer Chad Ditch.

Officers arrived on the scene and located 35-year-old Pleasure Coleman of Wichita unconscious and not breathing.

Police began providing life-saving efforts until EMS arrived. Coleman was pronounced deceased on the scene.

The investigation revealed that Coleman had a verbal altercation in a local drive-through with a 31-year-old man. That argument would turn physical at which point Coleman and the 31-year-old man exchanged gunfire at each other. Coleman was struck in his upper body.

Police took the 31-year-old man  into custody on the scene. Coleman and the other man are not known to each other, according to Ditch. Police released no additional details early Saturday.
