SEDGWICK COUNTY —Two people died in an accident just after 12:30a.m. Sunday in Sedgwick County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2002 GMC Yukon driven by Nathaniel Boyd, 24, Wichita, was southbound on Interstate 235 just south of Kansas 42.
Due to the snowstorm, the SUV rotated to the right and traveled off the road to the right down the embankment. The vehicle rolled and the driver and a passenger were ejected.
Boyd and the passenger identified as Whitney Allmond, 26, Clearwater were pronounced dead at the scene. They were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
