KANSAS CITY—The Kansas City Zoo and Aquarium wants your help to name the new giraffe calf. Last week the zoo announced a female Masai giraffe was born to mom Makali on June 30.
The calf weighed in at 125 pounds and already stands 5 feet 6 inches tall.
The animal care specialists have narrowed the name options down to five for the growing girl. The deadline to vote is 4pm on Friday, July 12, and you may vote only once. Click here to view the name options and cast your vote.
It will be a while before this adorable girl makes her public debut, but the zoo will keep fans updated on the Zoo’s social media pages.
