ATCHISON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on drug charges.
Just after 1p.m. Thursday, police stopped a vehicle in the 600 Block of Fletcher Street in Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
Officer arrested 47-year-old Robert J. Ford, 47, Atchison, on a Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear in court.
He is also being held on a requested charges of possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia which was located during his arrest on the warrant.
According to online jail records, Ford was also jailed on drug accusations in 2015.
