SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating an alleged attempted abduction and asking for help to locate a suspect.
Just after 3:30p.m. Monday, a concerning incident occurred in the area of 2500 W Esther Street in Wichita, according to a social media report from Wichita Police.
A 14-year-old girl was walking home when a maroon sedan pulled up beside her. The passenger in the vehicle made inappropriate comments and attempted to coerce her into getting into the car.
The suspect is described as a man, medium complexion, approximately 6 feet tall, medium muscular build, dark curly hair with a short black beard.
