Update: Bomb threat at airport in Manhattan

RILEY COUNTY — the Riley County Police Department Bomb Team and the Kansas Highway Patrol Hazardous Device Unit cleared the terminal at the Manhattan Regional Airport Friday afternoon. They found nothing suspicious, according to a statement from the RCPD. 

They released no additional details just before 1p.m. Friday.


RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are on the scene of a reported bomb threat at Manhattan Regional Airport.

The Riley County Bomb Team and Kansas Highway Patrol Hazardous Response Unit have responded to the airport, according to a media release from police.  They are asking the public to avoid the area.
