BARTON COUNTY, Mo. — One person died in an accident just before 4p.m. Saturday in Barton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2000 Ford Explorer driven by Fredrick R. Sellars, 28, Pittsburg, was eastbound on U.S. 160 one mile east of Mindenmines.
The SUV traveled off the right side of the road and the driver overcorrected. The vehicle returned to the road and overturned.
Sellars was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Daniel Funeral Home in Lamar. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
