FINNEY COUNTY— The first coronavirus case has been confirmed in Finney County, according to the health department
A case of coronavirus reported March 17 in Ford County involved a resident from out of state, according to the KDHE. The county confirmed the case was a person over 60-years-old who traveled into Ford County. The person was treated and their family placed under quarantine, according to the Ford County Health Department.
The department has a protocol in place for investigating positive cases. Known contacts will be notified.
