Kan. woman hospitalized after hit and run crash into bicycle

SHAWNEE COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities are investigating a hit and run accident that sent a woman to the hospital

Just after 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to a hit and run injury accident in the 5300 block of SW Topeka Boulevard, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.

A bicycle ridden by Jennifer J. Devore, 49, of Topeka was northbound  when she was struck from behind by a vehicle.

The suspect vehicle did not stop and continued northbound on SW Topeka Boulevard.

American Medical Response transported Devore to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according Christian.
