SEDGWICK COUNTY— Law enforcement authorities investigating the shooting death of a man in the parking lot of an apartment complex in Wichita are asking the public to come forward with information in the case.
Just after 5:30 a.m. March 11, police were dispatched to a shooting call at an apartment complex in the 7100 block of W. Shade Lane, according to officer Kevin Wheeler. Upon arrival, they located 35-year-old Laramie Miller in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound. EMS transported him to a hospital where he died from his injuries.
Police have developed several leads through eyewitness interviews and area surveillance video, and investigators are piecing to the case together. However, detectives are still requesting the community’s assistance to help solve the crime.
