LINN COUNTY— One person died in an accident just after 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in Linn County.
The Kansas State Highway Patrol reported a 2001 Ford F150 driven by Charles E. Pollard, 65, Mound City, was eastbound on 1150 Road four miles north of Mound City.
The pickup entered the south ditch and the driver over corrected. The vehicle re-entered the roadway and overturned in the north ditch.
Pollard was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
