Rawlins County event canceled

Posted Mar 10, 2020 5:42 PM

ATWOOD - Originally scheduled for the evening of Monday, March 16, in Atwood, the “Our Community’s Story: Shaping the Future of Rawlins County” story-sharing event, has been cancelled.

Plans are underway to reschedule for a later date.

Planned in conjunction with the Center for Public Partnership and Research at the University of Kansas (CPPR), LiveWell Northwest Kansas plans to share stories of what life in northwest Kansas is like and discuss what changes could occur so that struggling families can thrive—not merely survive. Data that will be shared is derived directly from real stories gathered from residents last year as part of CPPR’s “Our Tomorrows” program.

Additionally, a $500 higher education scholarship will be given away once a new date is secured.

For information, visit www.livewellnwk.org/news or contact LiveWell Director Travis Rickford at (785) 460-8177 or [email protected]
