DOUGLAS COUNTY — One person died in an accident just after 2:30p.m. Monday in Douglas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2016 GMC Sierra driven by Tayler James Livingston, 26, Paola and a 2010 Toyota Prius driven by Deeva Sharma, 25, Overland Park, were involved in a crash on U.S. 56 two miles west of Edgerton.
Sharma was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Frontier Forensics. Livingston was not injured. Details of the crash are still under investigation.
