OTTAWA COUNTY — A small earthquake shook part of Ottawa County early Sunday afternoon.

According
 to the Kansas Geological Survey, a 2.6 magnitude quake struck 
northeast of Bennington at 12:01 p.m. Sunday. The temblor was centered 
along the north side of Granite Road, between 210th Road and 220th Road,
 the KGS information noted.
