MCPHERSON COUNTY— One person died in an accident just after 11:30a.m. Wednesday in McPherson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported 2007 Chevy Impala driven by Robert Bishop, 66, Lyons, was southbound on Plum just south of Arrowhead Road.
The vehicle traveled into the west ditch, re-entered the roadway, then traveled into the east ditch and struck a tree.
Bishop was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to the Sedgwick County Forensics Center. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
