Deputies catch Kansas man with drugs during traffic stop

JACKSON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man on drug charges after a traffic stop.

Just after 9:30p.m.  Saturday, Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on US Hwy 75 near 214th Road south of Holton, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.

During the traffic stop, deputies located illegal narcotics. As a result of the traffic stop, Craig Wayne Dodds, 46, of Rossville, KS was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while suspended, and no proof of liability insurance.
