Golden Belt Bank recently recognized several employees for their years of service to the organization.
“We believe our employees are our biggest asset," said President Chris Wente. "The dedication to our customers and our community starts with our employees. We are honored to this year have four employees celebrating a quarter century of service to Golden Belt Bank.”
Randy Honas, Executive Vice President and loan officer, was recognized for his 25 years of service to Golden Belt Bank. Honas began his banking career as a FDIC bank examiner before joining Golden Belt Bank in 1994 as Branch Manager of our Ellis office. In 2010, he transferred to the Hays office. Honas is a Stonier Graduate School of Banking graduate and has also served as a director for Golden Belt Bank since 2004.
Also being honored for 25 years of service was Chris Dreiling, Executive Vice President and loan officer for Golden Belt Bank. Dreiling has spent nearly his entire career in the banking industry. He is a highly experienced loan officer and was instrumental in pioneering the development project that made available new residential lots in his home town of Victoria.
Kathy Stenzel, Vice President of Operations was honored for her 25 years of service. Stenzel also serves on Golden Belt Bank’s Board of Directors. Stenzel’s first position with Golden Belt Bank was as the administrative assistant to the President. She continually took on new roles and responsibilities as the bank grew and expanded. Stenzel now directs bank operations for the organization.
Geralyn Werth, Assistant Vice President and customer service representative, was celebrated for her 25 years of service. Werth started her career with Golden Belt Bank in 1994 as a teller. She now serves in a supervisor capacity. Her perpetually upbeat personality and extreme dedication to the customer’s experience is unmatched.

-Joyce Kerbs, teller in Fort Morgan, CO office, 10 years.
-Barb Bretz, building caretaker in Fort Morgan, CO office, 5 years.
-Tori Riedel, teller in Hays office, 5 years.
