Kansas man will stand trial for allegedly pulling a gun on 4 teens

PAWNEE COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man for alleged aggravated assault.

After a Wednesday preliminary hearing, 21-year-old Bryce Allen Bowman of Kinsley was bound over for trial on four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to Pawnee County Attorney Doug McNett.

During the hearing, four juveniles testified that Bowman pointed a handgun at them as they were leaving the skate park at Larned's  Schnack Park in the evening of October 22.

Arraignment is scheduled for February 28, according to McNett. Bowman remains free on bond and as a condition of the bond was ordered to surrender all firearms to law enforcement.
