JUNCTION CITY, KAN. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the death of two men whose bodies were found near the Milford Lake Dam as a murder-suicide.
Geary County authorities say Junction City police were called to a home Thursday night to investigate a violation of a protection order and a possible kidnapping.
Officers were told 27-year-old Zachary Lima had forced his way in and took 24-year-old Christopher Young out of the home at gunpoint.
The sheriff's department received information that led officers to Milford Lake, where the men's bodies were found.
Geary County Capt. David Gilbert said Friday the deaths are being investigated as a murder-suicide. No other information was immediately available.
