
RICE COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating two suspects arrested after a car crash in Rice County.
Just after 8a.m. Monday, sheriff's deputies responded to an injury accident in the 1800 block of Kansas Highway 14, according to a social media report from the Rice County Sheriff.

While on patrol, deputies came upon a vehicle on its side. One occupant was still inside the vehicle and exited through the rear window. Both occupants were evaluated on scene by EMS and were released without transport.
Following further investigation, both occupants were taken into custody on requested charges that included Driving Under the Influence, possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia, firearms violations, and traffic-related offenses.
Both individuals were transported to the Rice County Detention Center for booking and are currently being held on bond. The sheriff's office did not release their names.
