Body of Kansas man recovered after fall from boat

DELEWARE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a weekend drowning that took the life of a Kansas man.

According to a media release from the Grand River Dam Authority, a 1979 Mastercraft driven by 47-year-old Daniel Siebert of Wichita was in the back of Duck Creek portion of Grand Lake in northeast Oklahoma Saturday evening. 

Witnesses reported Siebert fell out of and was struck by the boat. He was the only  person on board. He did not resurface. First responders worked to stop the boat. Just after 7:30a.m. Sunday divers recovered his body.
