
Manhattan —Fire Department investigators determined the cause of the house fire at 2087 College View Road in Manhattan on Thursday night to be overloaded electrical circuits, according to Deputy Fire Chief Ryan Almes.
Multiple space heaters were plugged in which caused an overload on the electrical system. No injuries were reported on scene.

Manhattan— Authorities are working to determine the cause of a fire at a home in Manhattan.
Just after 9 p.m. on Thursday, fire crews were dispatched to 2087 College View Road for a report of a house fire, according to Assistant Chief Mike Kaus.
Upon arrival, crews found the home had smoke coming from the front and roof. Crews completed a search and controlled the fire within 20 minutes. The occupants safely exited the structure prior to fire department arrival. No injuries were reported on scene.
The house is a one-story house that had two occupants. Loss is estimated at $10,000 to contents and $40,000 to the structure. The owner is listed as Mike Lowe of Manhattan.
